Welcome to the Unconventional Text Writer

Unconventional Text Writer is designed to help you make the most of your LLM prompts for story writing.
I found that existing UIs didn't quite offer what I needed, so I built my own!

This is a static (frontend-only) webapp. All your data exists in your browser and not a 3rd party database or service (besides your prompts being sent to the LLM provider directly).

Here are the main features I've implemented to streamline your creative process:

• Multiple LLM providers for a variety of proprietary and open source models
• Pinning dialog prompts: Keep a dialog in memory and let older dialogs drop out of context as needed.
• Preserve key story details: Pinning dialog prompts ensures essential elements of your story don't get lost over time.
• Smart filtering for story writing, like only sending the most recent user prompt
• Hide dialog that is out of context. Allowing you to focus on the current scenes of your story
• Exporting stories: Seamlessly export your story, including out-of-context dialog. Choose to export only AI responses or both user prompts and AI responses.
• Searching
